Having just bought a boat I know nothing about, I went looking on CL for a motor to go with it. I found this 1961 Evinrude Lark III 40hp motor. I have not even started it yet, I just built a stand for it and parked it in the garage. It looked clean, and it didn't cost a lot. The guy said it worked last time he used it. We'll find out in the spring.
My main criteria was that it was a 1961, just like the boat, and it looked cool. Whatever else we find wrong, I'll just have to make it work.
